What chores should kids start with?
Start small: make the bed, put toys away, feed the pet or lay the table. Score Your Chores suggests age-matched chores for each child, and three or four each is the sweet spot for the first week.
How do points, rewards and pocket money work?
Every finished quest earns points. You choose the rewards, like screen time or picking Friday's dinner, and kids ask for them when they have enough points. Pocket money is optional and you hand it over yourself: no money moves through the app.
Do children need their own phone or account?
No. Score Your Chores works on one shared family iPhone. Each child taps their own card on the Who's up screen, and a grown-up PIN keeps approvals and settings for parents.
Is Score Your Chores free?
Yes. The free plan includes two children and every core feature: chores, approvals, rewards, all six Buddies, the Family Cup and Sunday Scores. Optional Plus adds more children, photo proof, bonus Buddy outfits and past Sunday Scores, with a free trial where offered.
Points are virtual. The app does not process reward payments. Optional Plus is an auto-renewing subscription through Apple.
